$94 million for the expansion and refurbishment of existing Hervey Bay Hospital Emergency Department building with 35 new beds, as part of the Hospital Rescue Plan. - New Bundaberg Hospital
A new hospital (at least 139 new beds) will be delivered using a staged approach to transfer services to the new site as part of the Hospital Rescue Plan.
DELIVERING a better lifestyle through a stronger economy
- Paradise Dam improvement project
Delivering a new Paradise Dam wall to ensure safe and secure water supply, and to support economic growth in the region. - Wide Bay Men’s Sheds
Delivering upgrades, new tools and equipment for Men’s Sheds at Mary Valley, Tin Can Bay and Howard.
DELIVERING a plan for Queensland’s future
- Bruce Highway upgrades around Maryborough
Delivering an overhaul of the intersection of the Bruce Highway and Walker Street and a new Tiaro Bypass. - Games On! Wide Bay Sports Academy
$300,000 for Wide Bay Sports Academy to support young local athletes aged 13-19 years excel in their chosen sport, as part of the $250 million Games On! Grassroots Infrastructure Program.
