A new hospital (at least 139 new beds) will be delivered using a staged approach to transfer services to the new site as part of the Hospital Rescue Plan.

$300,000 for Wide Bay Sports Academy to support young local athletes aged 13-19 years excel in their chosen sport, as part of the $250 million Games On! Grassroots Infrastructure Program.
