Beef Week 2027

Supporting delivery of a bigger and better Beef Week 2027 ($4.5 million over two years).

 

Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme

Delivering a boost to the Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme, with faster payments through system upgrades and a nation-leading 45c/km fuel subsidy, providing cost of living relief for patients travelling to specialist medical services by car.

Building Queensland's Future

New Gracemere High School

Delivering on our commitment to build a new high school in Gracemere, with construction set to commence in late 2026 and open for Year 7 and 8 students in 2028.

 

Rockhampton Youth Foyer

Delivering a new Rockhampton Youth Foyer, providing 40 self-contained units with 24/7 onsite support for young people aged 16 to 25 who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness, as long as they commit to taking part in study, training or work.

Making Queensland Safer

Crime Prevention School

Progressing the establishment of new specialised Crime Prevention Schools in Rockhampton, to re-engage youth who have disengaged from mainstream education and are at risk of falling into crime.

 

Rockhampton Courthouse improvements

Upgrading the Rockhampton Courthouse to provide better safety and support for victims of domestic and family violence.
