- Making Queensland Safer laws
Adult Crime, Adult Time for young offenders across the state, who commit the most serious offences. - Gold Standard Early Intervention
Targeted early intervention and rehabilitation programs to reduce youth offending across the Scenic Rim.
DELIVERING health services when you need them
- More health workers
More health workers for Scenic Rim, with additional funding in 2025–26 to grow the workforce to 17,779 (FTE) across Metro South Hospital and Health Service. - Ipswich Hospital Expansion (Stage 2)
$925 million to construct a new acute clinical services building on the existing site, with 200 new beds, as part of the Hospital Rescue Plan.
DELIVERING a better lifestyle through a stronger economy
- More social and community housing
$4.9 million to expand and improve social and community housing in Scenic Rim, working towards the delivery of 53,500 social and community homes by 2044, including delivering homes in partnership with the Australian Government. - Gallery Walk access and safety upgrades – Tamborine Mountain
$2.1 million to build an off-road car park, upgrade public toilets, and construct new pedestrian crossings and footpaths to improve access and safety.
DELIVERING a plan for Queensland’s future
- Mount Lindesay Highway (Brisbane – Beaudesert), Johanna Street to South Street (Jimboomba), duplication
Duplicating the Mount Lindesay Highway between Johanna Street and South Street in Jimboomba to improve safety and reduce peak hour congestion and travel time. Delivered in partnership with the Australian Government. - New indoor multi-sports facility – Beaudesert
$4.8 million spend to construct a new indoor multi-sports facility in Beaudesert with two courts, viewing deck, amenities and parking facilities.
