$1.2 million to deliver fixed and mobile CCTV cameras in Cleveland and Capalaba to deter hooning, nuisance, and property and motor vehicle offences. - Making Queensland Safer laws
Adult Crime, Adult Time for young offenders across the state, who commit the most serious offences.
DELIVERING health services when you need them
- More health workers
More health workers for Redlands, with additional funding in 2025–26 to grow the workforce to 17,779 (FTE) across Metro South Hospital and Health Service. - Redland Hospital expansion (Stage 2)
$150 million to construct a new 43-bed Mental Health (20 new beds) and Allied Health building and relocate services from the current site as part of the Hospital Rescue Plan.
DELIVERING a better lifestyle through a stronger economy
- Southern Moreton Bay Islands Barge Subsidy
Providing parking relief for Southern Moreton Bay Island residents through a 50 per cent subsidy on vehicle barge travel. - More social and community housing
$49.5 million to expand and improve social and community housing in Redlands, with 143 social homes in construction or under contract towards the delivery of 53,500 homes by 2044, including in partnership with the Australian Government.
DELIVERING a plan for Queensland’s future
- Russell Island Centre of Excellence
$2 million to support a Marine Centre of Excellence for Southern Moreton Bay Islands in partnership with industry and TAFE Queensland. - Weinam Creek car park
Delivering a new car park for commuters at Weinam Creek.
