DELIVERING safety where you live
- Swan and Emu Creek Rural Fire Brigade Station
$1 million to deliver the replacement of the rural fire brigade station at Swan and Emu Creek. - Warwick police facility upgrade
$21 million for the upgrade of the police facility at Warwick.
DELIVERING health services when you need them
- More health workers
More health workers for Southern Downs, with additional funding in 2025–26 to grow the workforce to 5,797 (FTE) across Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service. - Goondiwindi staff accommodation upgrade
$6.9 million to upgrade staff accommodation to aid recruitment and retention, as part of the newly uplifted Timely Investment Infrastructure Maintenance program.
DELIVERING a better lifestyle through a stronger economy
- Goondiwindi Neighbourhood Centre
$2 million for a new Goondiwindi Neighbourhood Centre in Southern Downs to expand services and provide more support for at-risk children and their families. - New social homes
$15.1 million to expand and improve social and community housing, with 28 social homes in construction or under contract towards the delivery of 53,500 homes by 2044.

- Improvements to the Gore Highway
Funding commitment for the Gore Highway, jointly funded with the Australian Government. - Cunningham Highway safety improvements
Delivering safety improvements to the Cunningham Highway, from Ipswich to Warwick.
