DELIVERING health services when you need them
- Ipswich Hospital expansion (Stage 2)
$925 million to construct a new acute clinical services building on the existing site, with 200 new beds, as part of the Hospital Rescue Plan. - Ripley Satellite Health Centre sub-acute expansion
$129.9 million to develop a 3 storey sub-acute modular unit with 90 new beds providing rehabilitation, geriatric, palliative, and interim care, as part of the Hospital Rescue Plan.
DELIVERING a better lifestyle through a stronger economy
- More social and community housing
$73.2 million to expand and improve social and community housing in Ipswich with 192 social homes in construction or under contract towards the delivery of 53,500 homes by 2044, including in partnership with the Australian Government. - Fire Ant Suppression Taskforce
$24 million to continue the joint taskforce to oversee fire ant suppression activities, including in Ipswich, by local governments, industry and Queensland Government.

Delivering a new primary school to service the growing Ripley Valley Priority Development Area, part of a $815 million new schools commitment. - New special school campus in Ipswich West
