More health workers for the Gold Coast, with additional funding in 2025-26 to grow the workforce to 10,733 (FTE) across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service.
DELIVERING a better lifestyle through a stronger economy
- More social and community housing
$116.3 million to expand and improve social and community housing, with 366 social homes in construction or under contract towards the delivery of 53,500 social and community homes by 2044, including in partnership with the Australian Government. - Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail
Getting on with the job of unlocking faster rail and additional train services for the Gold Coast.

- New special school in Coomera
Delivering a new special school to relieve local special schools, as part of an $815 million new schools commitment. - Wildlife Hospital – Marine Hospital at Sea World
