Another 204 beds for Redcliffe Hospital

A major expansion of the Redcliffe Hospital will deliver 204 extra beds for the growing Moreton Bay region, thanks to Queensland Government funding of over $1.1 billion.

The development will deliver additional operating theatres, emergency department treatment spaces, birthing suites and medical imaging facilities. The project also includes pharmacy and pathology areas as well as endoscopy, outpatient consult and diagnostic rooms. Work on the project supports more than 2,500 jobs and is due for completion in 2028.

Expansion of the Redcliffe Hospital is part of the Queensland Government’s Health Big Build, investing more than $14 billion delivering new and upgraded facilities right across the state including more than 3,300 additional hospital beds over six years.
